Papa John's Participates in Annual Relay for Life Team members from the Columbus, Georgia
area participated in the annual Relay for Life Saturday, May 5, 2007.
They walked all night and raised over $2500.00 for the American Cancer
Society. The walk goes from 7:00 pm and until 7:00 am. The
requirement is to have one person
Our team Captain, Donald Shannon, was instrumental in doing all the planning and leg work for this event. It took several days of planning and Donald stepped up big. Next year we look to make this an even bigger event. Teams usually start in January planning and fundraising for this event. We found out about this event late and pulled it off in only 6 days. All the volunteers were very impressed that we pulled it off in such short time and are excited to see what we have in store for next year. Also out for the event was Mr. Slicy, bringing smiles to all the kid's faces, as usual. The Milgen Road store also provided pizza for the many hungry participants.
